Volunteer: Retail Stores
There are more than 20 retail locations in and around Austin, which help to fund Goodwill’s employment programs for youth and adults. Volunteers are always needed in the production area of a retail store. Duties include receiving and sorting donations, collecting and organizing merchandise, performing quality control, and representing Goodwill through customer service.
If you have an eye for everything vintage and you like to shop, you can help! Creative people are needed to identify and pull vintage goods from our store donations for the purpose of selling them as “boutique” items to bring in additional revenue to help support our mission.
If you are interested in volunteering at a retail store please fill out the volunteer application and bring it to the store most convenient for you. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
Court-ordered Community Service Restitution volunteers can complete their hours at any Goodwill retail store. Please do not fill out a volunteer application. Contact the location nearest you for more information.
